Arctic Winter Games Team Alaska is a non-profit organization governed by a 12-member Board of Directors drawn from around the State of Alaska, with members serving staggered 3-year terms. Last Updated (Monday, 12 July 2010 18:56) Team Alaska Trust FundThe Arctic Winter Games Team Alaska Trust Fund is a fund created by the state legislature for the purpose of accepting tax-deductible donations, the purpose of which is to create an endowment sufficient to operate Team Alaska in perpetuity. As of May 2010 the balance in the fund is nearly $150,000. The fund-raising goal is in excess of $10,000,000. Your contribution, no matter how small or large, will help Team Alaska reach its goal of financial self-sufficiency. Team Alaska Code of ConductWhile at the Arctic Winter Games, all members of Team Alaska are expected to adhere to the Team Alaska Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior expected of team members - athletes, coaches and mission staff alike - and the disciplinary procedures to be followed in the case of infractions of the code. In order to become a member of the Alaska team for the Games, all team members must sign a statement saying that they have read and understand the Code of Conduct. |
